Ethics
"We are the product of God's blessings and the sacrifice of others. Faith and ethics sustain us when we feel the footprint of life."
- Mark L. Baum, Esq., BCGU Managing Director
"The core of success is a healthy compassion for others and an irrepressible ethic to make good on the promise of our lives."
- James B. Panther II, BCGU Managing Director
BCGU addresses issues related to client information by employing strict physical and electronic security systems. All BCGU employees and consultants' backgrounds are vetted by a BCGU Managing Director and a third party consultant. Our policies and procedures for client record keeping as well as BCGU's electronic infrastructure are reviewed on an ongoing basis by a third party contractor.
Many BCGU clients are public companies. Given the position of BCGU and its access to sensitive information which may be material non-public information, BCGU is held to a higher standard in terms of maintaining client records, reviewing newsworthy client events, writing and disseminating client news items and, in cases where BCGU employees, consultants or affiliates (collectively, a "BCGU Member") have access to material non-public information, making certain that no BCGU Member gains any advantage, financial or otherwise, from his or her position at or affiliation with BCGU. Although BCGU relies on the newsmaker client company to advise BCGU prior to a material disclosure, in any case, upon "contact" with any such material non public information, federal and state laws (not to mention a strict internal BCGU policy) prohibit any BCGU employee, consultant or associated parties (including family members and friends of BCGU officers, directors consultants and employees) from buying, selling, recommending or making other transfers of securities.
We consider information "nonpublic" if it is not generally available to the public or investment community.
